Cookies Policy
Last Updated: October 16, 2026
1. About This Policy
This Cookies Policy explains how Latigo Peak Partners, LLC (“Latigo Peak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on www.latigopeak.com and any other website operated by Latigo Peak that links to this Policy (collectively, the “Website”). Clients may access portfolio information through a separate portal operated by Addepar, Inc., which is not part of the Website and is governed by Addepar’s own policies. It should be read together with our Website Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally. If this Cookies Policy conflicts with our Website Privacy Policy, the Website Privacy Policy controls, except that this Cookies Policy controls with respect to the specific cookies and similar technologies we use on the Website and how you can manage them.
The Website is intended for use by individuals located in the United States. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative, and your information will be processed in the United States in accordance with this Policy and our Website Privacy Policy.
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, our practices, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above. If we make material changes, such as using cookies for new purposes, we will provide additional notice, such as a banner on the Website, before the changes take effect.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, phone, or other device when you visit. Cookies allow a website to recognize your device on later visits and remember information about your visit, such as pages viewed, preferences selected, and information entered into forms. Cookies can be “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
We and our service providers may also use similar technologies, including:
- Pixels and web beacons: small, often invisible, images or pieces of code embedded in a web page or email that tell us or a third party when a page has been viewed or an email has been opened.
- Local storage: technologies such as HTML5 local storage that allow a website to store information in your browser, similar to cookies but often in larger amounts.
- Scripts and software development kits (SDKs): code that collects information about how you interact with the Website, such as clicks and scrolling.
In this Policy, we refer to all of these technologies as “cookies.”
Emails. We may use pixels or similar technologies in the emails we send, such as newsletters and market updates, to learn whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our communications. You can limit this by setting your email program not to load images automatically or by unsubscribing from our marketing emails.
3. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are set by Latigo Peak when you visit the Website. Third-party cookies are set by another company, such as an analytics or advertising provider, when you visit the Website. Third parties that set cookies on the Website may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites, and their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Links to other websites. The Website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. When you follow those links, the third party’s own cookies policy and privacy policy, which may differ from ours, will apply. We are not responsible for the cookies or privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use the following categories of cookies on the Website. Because the specific cookies we use may change as we update the Website and our service providers update their technologies, a current list of the cookies we use, including the name, provider, purpose, category, and duration of each cookie, is maintained in our cookie consent tool, available at any time through “Cookie Settings” in the footer of the Website or at https://www.latigopeak.com/cookies-policy/#cookie-list.
| Category | Description | Examples of Providers | Can You Opt Out? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the Website to function and to keep it secure, such as cookies that enable page navigation, load balancing, security and fraud prevention, form submission, and remembering your cookie preferences. The Website cannot function properly without these cookies. | Latigo Peak; our website hosting and consent management providers. A current list of cookies (name, provider, purpose, category, duration) is available at https://www.latigopeak.com/cookies-policy/#cookie-list. | No (you can block them in your browser, but parts of the Website may not work) |
| Performance and analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the Website, such as which pages are visited most often, how visitors arrive at the Website, and whether errors occur, so we can improve the Website. Information is generally collected in aggregate form. | Analytics providers, such as Google Analytics. A current list of cookies (name, provider, purpose, category, duration) is available at https://www.latigopeak.com/cookies-policy/#cookie-list. | Yes. Set only with your consent through our cookie consent tool. |
| Functionality | We do not currently use functionality cookies. If we add features such as embedded video or scheduling tools, we will update this Policy and set such cookies only with your consent. | None at this time. | Not applicable. |
| Targeting and advertising | Used by us and our advertising partners to deliver advertisements more relevant to you, limit how often you see an ad, and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. These cookies may track your browsing across websites. Allowing advertising partners to collect information through these cookies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising,” under certain state privacy laws. | Advertising and social media providers. A current list of cookies (name, provider, purpose, category, duration) is available at https://www.latigopeak.com/cookies-policy/#cookie-list. | Yes. Set only with your consent through our cookie consent tool. You may also opt out at any time through the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of the Website or by enabling the Global Privacy Control. |

5. Third-Party Vendors
Certain third-party vendors may place cookies on your device when you visit the Website to provide services to us, such as website hosting, analytics, and advertising. The categories of third parties that set cookies on the Website are described in the table in Section 4, and a current list of those third parties and their cookies is available through our cookie consent tool at https://www.latigopeak.com/cookies-policy/#cookie-list.
We use Google Analytics, which collects information about Website traffic and usage on our behalf. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Embedded content and social media. If the Website includes embedded content or features from third parties, such as videos, scheduling tools, chat features, or social media buttons (for example, LinkedIn), those third parties may set cookies when you view or interact with that content. Any such cookies are listed in our cookie consent tool, and non-essential cookies are set only with your consent.
6. Cookies and Personal Information
Some cookies collect information that may identify you or your device, such as an IP address or unique device identifier, or that we may associate with other personal information you provide, such as your name or email address when you submit a form. We handle personal information collected through cookies in accordance with our Website Privacy Policy and protect it with the safeguards described in our Website Privacy Policy. When we allow advertising partners to collect information through targeting and advertising cookies, that activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising,” under certain state privacy laws, and you may opt out as described in Sections 7.3 and 8. We do not sell or share information we collect as part of providing advisory services to clients. If you are a Latigo Peak client, our Client Privacy Notice, available at https://www.latigopeak.com/client-privacy-notice/, provided under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Regulation S-P, also describes how we handle your nonpublic personal information. Information we collect through cookies is not used to make decisions about your eligibility for financial products or services.
7. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
7.1 Cookie Preference Tool
When you first visit the Website, you will see a banner from our cookie consent tool, CookieYes, that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies, including analytics, functionality, and advertising cookies, are not set unless you accept them. You can review the current list of cookies and change your choices at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any page or by visiting our cookie preference center. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the preference tool because they are required for the Website to function.
7.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers accept cookies by default, but you can usually change your browser settings to block or delete cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being set. The “Help” or “Settings” section of your browser explains how. Guidance for common browsers is available from the browser providers:
- Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop
- Apple Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471
- Microsoft Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/manage-cookies-in-microsoft-edge-view-allow-block-delete-and-use
If you block or delete cookies, some parts of the Website may not work properly, and you may need to reset your preferences each time you visit. Changing your settings to block cookies does not remove cookies already stored on your device; to remove them, use your browser’s option to delete cookies. Your choices are specific to the browser and device you use, so you may need to set them on each browser and device.
7.3 Interest-Based Advertising Opt-Outs
We and our advertising partners use targeting and advertising cookies and pixels to show you Latigo Peak advertisements on other websites and to measure their effectiveness. Under certain state privacy laws, this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out by rejecting advertising cookies through “Cookie Settings,” by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of the Website or visiting Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control as described in Section 8.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at https://optout.aboutads.info and https://optout.networkadvertising.org. Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing ads, but the ads you see will be less tailored to you.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control Signals
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not want your online activities tracked. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting DNT signals, the Website does not currently respond to DNT signals. We will update this Policy if our practices change.
Global Privacy Control. The Website treats a Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) or similar legally recognized opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for the browser or device that sends the signal. When we detect the signal, we will not set advertising cookies or pixels on that browser or device. To learn more about GPC, visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org. For information about rights you may have under California or other state privacy laws, please see the state privacy disclosures in Section 14 of our Website Privacy Policy.
